Schedule a Remote Consultation with Your Homeowner on My Calendar At the Bottom of the Page

Drew Sugarman

I've been helping homeowners go solar for the last decade, and with Powur since 2020. During this time I've sold projects in nearly all of Powur's markets and achieved the rank of "Centurion" for having over 100 projects installed.

In 2023 and 2024, I was recognized as a Top Tier 3 Closer in Powur for "developing markets" (ie. markets outside of Powur's big 3 states: California, Texas, and Florida.) In 2025, I took a seat on Powur's Leadership Council due to my closing track record.

Before finding Powur, I was a department manager at a regional solar company where I helped hundreds of new solar advocates find their footing in the industry. I emphasize a consultative, question-based approach and remote selling over zoom.

Important Instructions

Thank you for choosing me as your closer!

If you have any questions after reading this, please TEXT 970-484-8724.

DO NOT call out of the blue. I work off a calendar but answer texts throughout the day in-between meetings.

Consultation Appointment Booking Calendar is at the bottom of the page.

Before You Schedule:

  • Do not book this design appointment until you've done a discovery call to qualify the home! Follow this link for an example discovery call.

  • For your first couple discovery calls, you can book a time for us to do a discovery call with your client together using this link until you're ready to do them yourself. Be sure to add yourself as a guest!

  • I will order the proposal 1-2 days ahead of the booked design appointment time. I will not order the proposal without a booked design appointment and electric bill (unless the homeowner just moved in.)

  • Include any and all relevant notes in the project notes section in Powur.

  • Make sure to select me as the mentor on the bottom of the project summary page.

Pre-Appointment:

  • Schedule a time with your homeowner that's available on my calendar below (you can do this on the phone with them and this calendar open) and fill in as much info as you can.

  • The calendar will default to your local time zone but use the drop-down to select the homeowner's time zone.

  • Any notes you include in the additional notes field on the calendar below will be visible to your homeowner. Be mindful about what you include. Put sensitive notes in the project notes section in Powur instead.

  • Do not be alarmed when the proposal comes back looking "off" - proposals do not come back ready to present.

If You Choose to Join the Appointment:

  • Transfer some of the rapport you built up by introducing me: "This is Drew, he's been helping people go solar for 10 years and he will be able to answer all of your questions so I'm going to let him take it away. You're in great hands!

  • Let me do most of the talking. You may have a wealth of knowledge, but it can be overwhelming to the homeowner if we are constantly going back and forth or talking over one another.

  • Take Notes! Don't trust your memory - write down statements that stick out to you.

Post-Sale:

  • If anything you see in the Project Notes or Milestones confuses you, reach out to me (via text at 970-484-8724) or your PM (via ticketing) for clarity.
